Set at the Hollywood Hills home of former Food Network Host and cookbook author Bob Blumer, Cary Brothers: Songs in the Key of Film explores the power of music in film with Cary Brothers, one of the most licensed singer-songwriters in film and television today. The film also celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Grammy-winning soundtrack from Garden State. Brothers reveals insight into the effects of the placement of his song Blue Eyes in the film while helping curate the overall soundtrack with filmmaker Zak Braff – and other hit song placements from his career.

Aside from helping Blumer prep the evening’s Surreal Menu, Brothers performs songs from Blumer’s rooftop with the iconic Hollywood sign as a backdrop. Hits include Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You (Smallville), Ride (Grey’s Anatomy), and of course, Blue Eyes (Garden State). The 18-minute short documentary premiered at the San Jose Int'l Short Film Festival in October 2024 and will screen at select film festivals and private events in 2025.

This is Quigley's first film as Executive Producer. His past work in film includes co-producing the 18-city sneak preview tour for the food and wine media for Fox Searchlight's iconic film Sideways. In addition, Quigley helped establish the Yountville Int'l Short Film Festival, and has hosted the wines for MUSEXPO: United Nations of Music in Los Angeles for 24 years.
